Calls go to Sarah or Stephen, the owners. There is no intake department to get through.

Who we can take, and who we cannot
Yes
- Any adult APD has found eligible — whichever of the eight qualifying conditions it is.
- Standard residential habilitation.
- Someone whose plan is still being built, if you want to talk it through early.
Not us
- A plan calling for Behavior Focused, Intensive Behavior or Special Medical services.
- Anyone under 18 — APD serves children, we do not.
- Independent or supported living. These are staffed homes.
Our homes hold a standard group home license — no Behavior Focused, Intensive Behavior or Special Medical designation. We support adults whose plans call for standard residential habilitation, and if a plan calls for one of those designations we will tell you so rather than take a placement we are not licensed for.
Our homes are for adults — 18 or older. APD serves children as well, but a Skycrest Place home is an adult home.

We are in APD's Suncoast Region, which covers De Soto, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas and Sarasota. Clearwater sits in the middle of Pinellas, so a family travelling from across the county has a short drive.
